I have taught History classes for many years, including AP U.S. History, Honors U.S. History, U.S. History, Contemporary American History, and Chicago History.

As a history teacher, I have organized and instructed approximately 150 students per year and had the highest pass rate of any AP U.S. History teacher at the school where I taught. I have created specific study materials for AP class, including music CDs. Additionally, I have continued and consistent attendance of AP seminars to improve skills and have presented materials to other AP teachers at conferences.

I also serve as reader for the AP U.S. History Examination. This involves reading several thousand essays from the AP U.S. History Exam given worldwide in May of each year, and ranking them on a rubric, zero through nine, so I know what those people want.
