I am a recent graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, GA, with a BS in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology and a Global Health minor. I have a good background in science and math classes because I was a science major in college and I am applying to medical school. I think it is very important to figure out your learning method and focus on that to learn and master concepts and facts. I encourage my students to get into a rhythm and plan out their studying to hold them more accountable for their learning.
I was a 4-year member of the Emory University Women's Soccer team. I was a goalkeeper, and I have All-Conference and All-Region honors from the 2011 and 2012 seasons. My team went to the NCAA DIII championship game in 2012 and played second in the nation. I have trained both goalkeepers at all levels and field players at the middle school level.
I was also a 4-year member of Emory University Women's Track & Field team. I was a sprinter, and 400 meter is my best race. I have All-Conference honors, and I am a 4-time All-American in the 400 meter dash and the 4x400 meter relay. I also run the short sprints, and I went to DIII nationals with my 4x100 meter relay, in addition to the 400 and 4x400 meter relay.
