Hi, my name is Amanda. I have my type 10 teaching certificate. I have a lot of experience working with students with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, ED/BD, and cognitive disabilities. I have been teaching for almost three years now. I have worked with students in elementary, middle, and high school. I have never had a job as a tutor. However, I have a lot of experience working with students individually.
Teachers perform assessments and offer assistance after class and after school. I have also taught vocational skills such as hygiene, budgeting, job skills, using community resources such as transportation, how to complete a resume, social skills, etc. I enjoy teaching very much and there is nothing greater than helping students learn and grow. I believe that teachers must change their teaching styles to meet the needs of their students.
