You care about your students and who works with them. You want so badly for them to be successful in school, athletics, and in life. You know they have what it takes and are looking for help to draw that ability out. Please allow me the privilege of partnering with your student to get results, develop a love of learning, and enjoy the process. We can make their desire to improve a reality.
Who am I? I am a 39 year old entrepreneur/businessman who has a day job with a billion dollar company facilitating workshops and coaching business leaders. I have worked with executives at large companies such as Union Pacific, Accenture, and Avaya. I have trained public school teachers on how to be more effective in the classroom. I have consulted with with non-profits on building and developing their culture. Early in my career, I was an English, reading, math, science teacher, cross country, track, basketball coach, and youth director.
My specialty is enhancing human performance in learning, athletics, business, and life. In short, I help people of all ages improve in the area of their choice. I have a master's degree in Transformational Leadership to support this process as well as the practical experience of being able to draw on all specific areas mentioned above. I have traveled the world extensively so I have worked with many cultures. I also played college basketball in Michigan and professional basketball in Europe.
Great, but can I connect with your student? Yes, I can connect with whatever your student needs/wants to learn. I love learning and I love young people. It is my desire to draw out the greatness in your son or daughter even if it currently seems to be hiding or if it just needs a little enhancing. The students I work best with are junior high and high school.
Why am I doing this tutoring work? This is my way to give back to the community and spread the love of growth, excellence, and learning to the next generation. My work allows me to flex my schedule for this purpose. Imagine the joy it will give all of us to see your child develop learning patterns that will help him/her succeed for a lifetime. The path to success will be unique with each student. That is the fun part. We get to co-discover with your student the path that will work best for them.

Grades and learning buy you the luxury of studying exactly what you want in life and expressing what you are good at and enjoy every day. Though it has taken me a while, I am now getting paid very well to do exactly what I what to do. It is a good feeling.
