I have been teaching science and mathematics for the past 5 years. The important thing is students love the way I teach and show improvement in their performance.
I have experience working with wide range of age groups including toddlers, middle school and high school students.
I understand that everyone has his/her own unique way of learning, so I make a thorough assessment of abilities of each student and proceed accordingly. I usually take tests regularly and correct the mistakes and provide feedback.
There is no way that the student won't understand what I will teach -- that's my promise.
REGARDING TEACHING HINDI:
I was born and raised in India and am currently living in USA with my husband. I have started teaching Hindi along with science and mathematics to help parents who are trying to teach their kids Hindi; after realizing the importance of teaching Hindi and realizing lack of really good materials, I not only wanted to make learning Hindi fun for kids but also for parents to find such materials to teach Hindi.
Sure there are tons of websites and resources out there that provide Hindi materials but none of them focus on actually being able to write or read Hindi. Most of them are either story books or some animated CD/DVDs with games, songs, etc.
Hence my goal is to create various materials and worksheets that are at par with the other "ABC" or "English books" that our kids are used to. I decided to choose graphics which are not very ethnic but rather appealing to young kids. All activities, worksheets are geared toward little kids, so they can have fun while they learn! Moreover, this is the way kids are taught Hindi in India, too.
