I am a certified behavioral and science teacher with seven years of one-on-one, small group, and classroom teaching. I prefer a Socratic style of teaching, a teaching strategy in which students are asked a series of questions designed to lead their thought process, in which they provide descriptive answers to open-ended questions. I prefer that my students learn through experience and hands-on practice, and we use our books, computers, readings, writings, and speech as tools to build on our existing knowledge. I have a comprehensive knowledge of several science disciplines, practical research experience, and multilevel science certifications with instruction experience.
