Hello (to someone who is reading this E-mail),
I'm a so-called a Japanese business person working in the northwest suburbs, living around the Lincoln Square area in Chicago. To be honest, I used the word "so-called," simply because I'm Japanese and work for a Japanese company (which makes me a Japanese business person), though doesn't necessarily mean that I use my native-tongue on a daily basis (probably a couple of times a week at most?).
Truthfully, I love the concept of learning language - which doesn't have to be going to school and actually taking some courses (though I did major in Spanish in college), but to learn its patterns used by each individual.
As you can read what I'm typing here, my English is so not very perfect (mostly that's because I don't normally proofread), though I think what I'm typing here somewhat shows my personality or uniqueness as a person. And that's what I love about the language.
I was tutoring Japanese while I was in college. During that time, I learned quite a lot about both Japanese and English through teaching them how Japanese works in terms of not only the linguistic point of view but also the thinking process as being Japanese (I personally think that's more important than just teaching them how the language works). I would love to have that experience once again.
In any case, thank you for reading my profile. I hope to get in touch with some of you in the future who are reading this.
