With a master's in French, a bachelor's in history, 5+ years of teaching, and great experience studying, travelling, living, and working in France, I enjoy sharing my expertise and love of language and culture with students of various ages and interests.
Most of my teaching has been at the university level, but I have experience with elementary, middle, and high school as well. I enjoy tutoring those who want to improve their speaking for academic pursuits or the casual traveler hoping to make the most of their trip to Paris.
For grammar, writing, and reading, I like to plan personalized lessons relevant to each students needs, goals, and level. For those needing to improve grades, I will carefully evaluate not only your level and where you can improve the most, but how I can most effectively help you improve your grade and approach to coursework within the context of your current French class.
I am comfortable tutoring in home, at public libraries, or coffee shops. I have experience teaching on-line and am willing to negotiate distance sessions with individual students.
Please contact me for further information on how I can help you meet your foreign language goals.
All lessons should be cancelled or re-scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions cancelled or re-scheduled less than 24 hours in advance are subject to a fee. While willing to travel, distances greater than 15 miles may incur an extra fee.
