I really enjoy working with kids, and I also feel kids really enjoy working with me. Math can be a very intimidating and frustrating subject, but I try and help my students build confidence in their ability to achieve, both academically and socially. I am able to create a challenging working environment without discouraging my students and also while keeping my students engaged.

I am very well qualified to be a tutor because of my experience working as a math tutor at C2 Education. At C2 Education, I worked with elementary, middle, and high school students and I tutored as many as four students per session. I was required to record the progress of each student and plan future lessons accordingly. I helped students complete homework and summer packets, study for quizzes, tests, AP Exams, and the SATs.

Additionally, as an electrical engineer I have a strong math background. At the University of Maryland, College Park, I maintained a 4.0/4.0 in the five math classes I took (calculus 1, 2, and 3, differential equations, and linear algebra). I also received a 5 on the AP Calculus BC Exam in high school.
