I have a lot of knowledge accumulated over the years and I am willing to share it with others. I graduated from Brookport High School in 1972. I was a member of the Beta Club (A National Honor Society). I also scored a superior score on the NEDT test as a Senior. This put me in the upper percentile of high school students in the State of Illinois.
I enrolled at Southern Illinois University but even though I did not graduate I learned a lot about Criminal Justice and many other challenging courses.
I joined the Military (Navy) in 1978 and was Honorably Discharged in 1982. I was a Fire Control Technician (Petty Officer 3rd Class) on the USS Henry B Wilson. She was a guided missile destroyer. I have been to 10 different foreign countries while in the military. I have extensive training in electronics & electricity because I had to operate and maintain the ship's weapons and radar.
Upon being discharged I enrolled in Control Data Institute and learned Computer Programming. I also graduated from Coyne College studying Electrical Maintenance. This helped me to be employed By AT&T for more than 23 years as a Telecommunications Specialist. I also worked for Chicago Housing Authority as an Elevator Mechanic.
I have an FCC License and I am a Certified Merchant Marine. These are not all of my accomplishments but I think it qualifies me to tutor students on a variety of subjects.
