My name is Cristina P. and I am a recent graduate from Northeastern Illinois University, I have a Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry with a GPA of 3.0. I am aspiring to become a Pediatric Oncologist and I want to dedicate my life to helping children. I have a lot of experience tutoring and volunteering with elementary age children ranging from grade K-8. I have a good grasp of the biological science and can provide tutoring and homework help with basic biology for high school and undergraduate studies. I am of Colombian and Guatemalan decent and I speak Spanish fluently, as a first generation American I think it is very important to maintain my native language so that I can connect with my culture, and I am able to assist in tutoring for Spanish. I have a wide variety of skills and I love working with people and I love helping people learn. I lead science labs at a local elementary school, and I work with children at a local hospital as well. Please contact me if you would like to learn more, and I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
