I have been studying American History since grade school. When I was in high school, I passed the AP American History exam with a perfect score. I began tutoring American History for all age groups for 4 years now. Whether you are in grade school or college level American History classes, I make sure that that you are successful in the class by means of really breaking down the content of what is being taught in the class.
Though I am studying music, I have always been active in contact sports. When I was in middle school until now, I have always played basketball and attended basketball camps. Throughout my high school and college, I was very active in the community basketball teams and also for the intramural games. Since attending NEIU, I have been coaching basketball camps for young kids to even young adults.
Biology was one of my favorite subjects through grade school and college. I have been tutoring biology for 3 years now. I tutor all levels of biology where my goal is to make sure my students to do well in this class. Many of my students that I tutored in the past were very pleased with their grades due to my strong determination of making sure they do well.
For 7 years now, I have always been into bodybuilding. I have used fantastic programs such as p90x and insanity. To this day, I coach bodybuilding routines to my friends at NEIU where they are very pleased with the results they get. Some of the routines I teach are based off of popular programs like p90x as well as some workout routines I came up with.
I have been tutoring Chemistry for 3 years now. I tutor those who are at the middle school level through graduate school. I have always been very good at chemistry, where I have always been getting A's for the class. I know that chemistry can be confusing and frustrating at times, and that's where I come in to make sure that you stay on top of your game in the class. For all the students I tutor, I break down the topic so that is easier to understand. My goal is to always make sure that my students do well.
I have been playing chess for 12 years. I have been in and won several major chess tournaments with USCF and some European Chess Federations. I started teaching/tutoring chess 6 years ago where my teachings are simple at first and then I start making it more intense where now some of my pupils has won several tournaments. I make sure that my pupils do their best when it comes to chess.
I have been studying composition and orchestration throughout all the years of college. I've studied with quite a few top composition professors at Harper College and NEIU. I started tutoring composition in 2012. What I usually search for in my students is their own creative and yet original approach to music composition. I tutor/teach music composition in very basic structural foundations. For example I teach music composition starting with the practices of early music such as Medieval and Renaissance. Then I start expanding the music composition spectrum by introducing composition practices of the Baroque Era till Mid 20th Century. Many of my students have written several wonderful compositions with my guidance.
I have studied music at Harper College in Palatine, IL, for two years under renowned music theorist/sight singing specialists Dr. Barbara Bowker and Dr. Charmian Tashjian. I have tutored ear training for one year ever since starting at Northeastern Illinois University in Fall of 2012. When it comes to both sight singing and ear training, I make sure those who I tutor/teach get the basics down pat, meaning that I have the individuals know their intervals sufficiently and know the difference between a major, minor, augmented, and diminished chord(audibly). Then, I would focus on dictations for those who range from very beginner to advance levels.
I have been tutoring Elementary Science for 7 years. I really enjoy tutoring this subject to my young students. When I work with my young students on this subject, I make it fun so that they want to learn more about science. All of my students parents are very pleased in how approach tutoring Elementary Science.
I have been tutoring English since freshmen year of high school. Today, I tutor English to all age groups. My goal is to make sure that all of my students are successful. If my student is a very beginner in English, I always go make the English very simplified and then I gradually build on from there. Whenever any of my friends need help with their English assignments, I'm the first person they come to.
Since attending college, I have been tutoring those who are learning English as a secondary language. My goal is always to make sure that my students are successful. When I work with my students, I make all of my sessions worth while to make sure that my students understand the material very clearly. If my students are slow in understanding the material, I always go down to their level and build them up.
While coaching bodybuilding at NEIU, I also coached regular cardio and weight training routines. I have been coaching my friends in fitness since my freshmen year while at Harper College. Whenever I coach fitness, I start my friends out at the level that is appropriate for them, by means that if they haven't worked out for a while, I would give them routines in cardio and weight training to gradually recondition there muscles and tendons. Today, I still coach fitness and looking to acquire more pupils.
I have been tutoring English grammar for 4 years now. My goal is to make sure that my students really understand on how to properly use grammar in English. If my students are slow in understanding some grammar, I make it even more simplified as possible where the student will understand.
I took music history at Northeastern Illinois University for 2 years. But prior to taking music history at NEIU, at Harper College, my music theory courses had brief historical preferences where my class had to read books written by composers. After completing my music history courses at NEIU, I have been tutoring those who are currently taking the class. With my help, those students are passing the class with very high grades.

With these 9 students I provided copies from a better and more sufficient theory book that I used which is called "The Musician's Guide to Theory Analysis" and also, I spent several hours helping these students to make sure that they were doing everything right to make sure that they understand the material. In the end all of the students that I aided ended up getting As for the semester.
While being a tutor in fitness and bodybuilding, I'm also an expert on Health and Nutrition. I base my expertise from what read in top books written by health and nutrition experts such as Dr. Oz and Michael Pollen. Whenever my friends need advice on nutrition and health, they always come to me since I always provide the best solution for them.

Since I was taught by renowned pianists Bryan Shilander, Dr. Janice Razaq, Dr. Susan Tang, Dr. Olga Bornovalova, and Dr. Kay Kim, their styles of teaching influenced my teaching/tutoring style where many of the students that I tutored were successful in their own private lessons and piano classes. What I usually do for tutoring students in piano, what ever level they are, I always make sure they do better and build up their skill either by assigning them music to sight read, show alternative fingering to their desire, showing them how to memorize music quickly and sufficient, and showing them techniques to truly over come stage fright.
I was born and raised in a Roman Catholic family. I have a great in depth knowledge of the Catholic and Christian faiths. I also studied other religions through my history and humanities classes from high school and college. I help tutor Catholic studies at the local Catholic basilica in my area.

When it comes to tutoring sight singing syllables, I primarily focus on solfege and numbers. Also, what I usually do when it comes to tutoring/teaching sight-singing is that I have the individual get to know how to sight sing in bass, treble, alto, and tenor clefs sufficiently.
I have been tutoring those who are preparing for the TOEFL exam for 4 years now. My goal is to make sure that all of my students are fully prepared where they pass on the first try. I really break down each section of the TOEFL exam to where my students understand on what they need to do.
I have been studying voice since I was 8 years old. I have been taught by renowned vocal teachers in the Chicago area. My teachers included Bill Rush, Kathy Cown, Dr. Thomas Stauch, Sarah McIntyre, and Brandon Magid. I started tutoring/teaching voice lessons 2 years ago. For my students, I teach in great emphasis on the Bel Canto style. I teach all age groups and a few of my students are currently attending prestigious music schools such as The Juilliard School and Eastman School of Music.
As well as American History, World History is another subject that I was very strong in. I was very successful in my AP World History class where I passed the AP exam with a perfect score. Since then, I have been tutoring World History for all age groups. My goals, like all the other subjects I tutor, is to make sure my students are successful. Most of my students whom I tutor also passed the AP exam with a perfect score and those who I tutor World History at the college level, were very successful in the class.
I have been tutoring writing since my freshmen year of high school. Today, my students are very good at writing where they are getting very good scores on the writing portion of the ACT, good scores on their essays, and much more. My goal is to always make sure my students succeed.
