Hello. My name is Evelyn and I am currently a certified special education teacher and board certified behavior analyst. I have been working with children for over 5 years. I have experience working in general education and special education classrooms. I have worked with companies providing one on one ABA therapy in home settings. I have experience working with children with learning disabilities, autism, adhd, english language learners, down syndrome, oppositional defiant disorder, behavior disorder, and cognitive impairments. I have also work with students in general education classroom to grasp skills in math and reading. I am also able to teach study skills, organizational skills and research skills to students. The begin by first getting to know the tutee, assessing their skills and preferred learning methods. I then develop a plan based on the assessment and parent feedback. I use a variety of research based method to improve students skills all while making the experience enjoyable.

I have worked with children with ADD for over 5 years. I have worked with these children in school and while doing in home therapy. I am able to teach them skills that helps them to stay focus, organized and improve in school.

Aspergers

I have worked with children with Asperger's for over 5 years. I have experiencing working with them in school, clinic and in home setting. I am able to differentiate instruction to meet their needs.
