Adobe Flash

I have been a Flash designer and developer for full Flash Web sites, animated Flash Web video ads, online E-learning lessons, Flash mobile apps, and even small games.

My experience has been with Flash design for Chicago agencies. This involved designing graphics, and creating animations for Flash ads, also with Flash Web video. At times using Photoshop and Illustrator as well to create and optimize graphics for using in Flash. At a professional level I use Flash, and Actionscript 3 practically daily.

Having a range of Flash experience, I enjoy sharing my knowledge and would enjoy tutoring and helping students in this subject. I've had previous experience mentoring and giving direction to junior level Flash designers on projects.

I also have taught online for The Academy of Art University, a top design school, based out of San Francisco. My teaching style involves supplying real world knowledge.

Web Design

I've focused on designing Web sites for Chicago agencies. I use design tools such as Wordpress also have the technical HTML/CSS coding ability to create custom designs.

At a professional level I use HTML, CSS and Javascript. Also I use Photoshop for creating custom graphics for the Web site layout as needed.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and would enjoy tutoring and helping students in this subject. I also have taught online for the Academy of Art University, a top design school, based out of San Francisco. My style of tutoring involves using exercises that are similar to the current project or work being studied, by using real Web design examples and code to show visually how it works.

Approved Subjects

In most cases, tutors gain approval in a subject by passing a proficiency exam. For some subject areas, like music and art, tutors submit written requests to demonstrate their proficiency to potential students. If a tutor is interested but not yet certified in a subject, the subject will appear in non-bold font. Tutors need to be approved in a subject prior to beginning lessons.
