Greetings,
My name is Jessica. I've grown up around many children, being the oldest of five. Also, for the last four years, I have been teaching English in South Korea. I taught children ranging in ages from preschool through middle school. I was responsible for not only teaching the kids but monitoring meals, evaluating, guiding, managing schedules and helping children to and from the classroom. Some of the subjects I've taught are English, art, science, reading, writing, phonics, grammar, gym and cooking.
I truly have a passion for supporting and encouraging children. I love to see them grow, learn and adapt. My style is relaxed but attentive. I enjoy encouraging children to try new experiences and discover what they excel at, whether it involve music, art, sports, travel, food or language.
As far as my availability goes, I would also like to note that Tuesday through Thursday evenings, I am attending classes for my Master's program downtown. The classes begin at 5:30 p.m. and my schedule does change every four months, but the classes will always be during weekday evenings. As long as I can arrive to my classes on time, I am open to any schedule.
