Hi! My name is Snow and I'm currently a Chicago Public Schools teacher with the Teach for America program. I graduated from Princeton University in 2011 with a degree in history and certificates in east Asian studies and visual arts. I am currently teaching special education for grades K through 5 for all subjects (English, writing, phonics, math, geometry, science, and social studies) and am looking to expand my teaching career to tutoring as well. I'm willing and able to teach math up to algebra II and geometry and reading comprehension, phonics, and writing for all grade levels (k-12). I have a lot of experience working with students who struggle academically and behaviorally and have had great success with my special education classrooms. Students on average have made over 1.3 years improvement in reading growth and 2.5 years' in math. I also have experience taking classes at Princeton ranging from linear algebra to graduate level history courses. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
