My name is Cassandra, and I may be the ideal tutor for you!
Currently, I'm an undergraduate student pursuing an Bachelor's in Arts in Psychology (specialization in Community) with a double minor(s) in Women and Gender Studies and Community Service Studies at DePaul University.
In my journey as a DePaul University student, I have effectively developed a series of professional development, professional interaction, transferable skills, as well as workplace development (specifically in the Non-Profit Organizational Management field).
As part of my work, I tutor students in Language Arts (including English, reading, vocabulary, and writing), test prep (ACT), and Science (Biology, and etc.) Additionally, I have experience with students of all ages, including extensive experience with individuals who have special needs.
In general, I favor a "hands-on" approach to teaching that involves a lot of interaction between the tutor and student, and concrete experiences in addition to worksheets. However, my specific methods vary according to the subject being taught and the learning style of the student.
