I believe with my background and experience that I can be an excellent tutor, specifically in Math, English, and Intro Psychology. I started my college education at Loyola University and while there I excelled in Pre-Algebra and Calculus.
I conducted tutoring sessions in my class and assisted other students. Outside of school I volunteered with the Chicago Youth Program and served as a mentor and tutor for students with Youth Organizations Umbrella. In these programs I develop good tutoring skills by assisting students with completing their homework.
I worked very well with elementary age children and helped them develop better study habits.
While in college I also was an excellent in English, Grammar and Literature. I received a 29 in English on my ACT and I often received As on the the many papers I wrote for various courses. I have taken and excelled in a variety of Liberal Arts courses including English, Philosophy, Literature, and Religion. I have also taken over 50 credit hours in Psychology courses which was my major. I received a composite score of 27 on my ACT so if needed, I believe I can also help students who are looking to improve their test scores.
All in all I am well rounded in a variety of subjects and I believe I can assist you or your child with improving their grades and developing better study skills
