I am a well qualified individual seeking opportunity to tutor K-12 students. I am very much passionate about numbers, hence earned a B.S. in Computer Science (including minors in Mathematics and Business Administration) and M.B.A. in Finance. I have 6 years of working experience in both corporate and non-profit industries.
My passion for numbers encouraged me to teach students and share my knowledge with them. I have teaching experience in a Public School as a Substitute Teacher. I also have experience as a Volunteer Tutor at a non-profit organization. Additionally, I acted as a Judge at Science Fair to promote Science among school students in Chicago Public Schools in 2009. I also, mentored an undergraduate student at my University to help her acquaint with core University curriculum. (Details can be requested).
Also, I received several awards from American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) and Illinois Section of the Mathematical Association of America (ISMAA) for winning math competitions while receiving Bachelor‘s degree.
Please contact me if you are looking for a professional individual that has great passion for teaching and Mathematics.
