Cathleen is a recent graduate with her Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education: Language Arts from Northeastern Illinois University. During her time there, she worked as a tutor for the America Reads Program where her students exhibited impressive gains in reading in the classroom. She also worked with the reading teacher at Ramirez High School in a clinical internship.

Community involvement includes "The Beach Poets" which she founded and has hosted since 1990. Global altruism was her goal when she served as the coordinator of the video for the Int'l Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect. She was named "Outstanding Leader in Peace" by the Peace Museum; received "Certificate of Leadership in Racial Justice" from the YWCA in DuPage County; named one of the "100 Women Making a Difference" by Today's Chicago Woman Foundation. She was awarded the Jane Addams Scholarship in the Spring of 2009. She is a published author, and produced playwright.

You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
