I am a experienced Chicago high school math teacher (37 years with CPS). I am able to teach and or tutor math subjects up to and including AP Calculus. I have much experience tutoring and teaching SAT/ACT test preparation.

I have taught in a private school setting (8th grade through 12th grade), as well as have 37 years experience with the Chicago Public School, and a total of 42 years math teaching. I am fully certified by the Illinois state system, and have a certificate for teaching mathematics, grades 6 to 12.

I am a very patient, caring teacher, and have made excellent success with students of diverse backgrounds and ability levels.

Algebra 2

I have taught math for 42 years, including algebra at the high school level. In particular I have excellent experience in teaching and tutoring Algebra 2 (also known as Advanced Algebra with Trigonometry).

Geometry

I have 42 years' experience as a math teacher/tutor, most recently in the Chicago Public School system. I am adept at all levels of math teaching from 6th grade to 12th grade, including SAT and ACT preparation.

Trigonometry

I am fully qualified to tutor the subject of Trigonometry. It is part of courses called Advanced Algebra/Trigonometry in the customary high school math curriculum; I have many years' experience teaching this subject.

ACT Math

I have 42 years' teaching experience in grades 8 to 12. I have extensive practice in tutoring for both the SAT and ACT college tests.
