I am a fun-loving person who encourages others to have fun too. I love language and think learning one, or two, is one of the BEST ways to get yourself ahead. I have considerable international experience, (1 year in Venezuela, ~9 months in Brazil,) and excellent knowledge of Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish. Not only can I teach you the mechanics of the language, I have an ear for accents, and can mold you to not only understand the language, but speak it the way that the natives do. Whether you are a businessperson who realizes the leg-up that learning a language can give you in the workplace today, or a college student that needs an extra push to get you through your language classes, or a gradeschooler/parent who knows what use languages will be to your future, I am willing and able to get you ahead. We'll use various methods, including grammar, listening, and semantics exercises, comprehensive conversation from early on, and take-home work to find the quickest path possible to fluency. I work with your learning style to ensure you are comfortable and not only learning, but enjoying learning your new language.
