I am proficient in the following subjects: Human Anatomy, Osteology, Anthropology (Cultural and Physical/Biological), Archaeology, and Criminology.
My main training is in skeletal biology, so a majority of my background is in physical anthropology, human anatomy, and basic forensics. Over the past 3 years, I have taught several college courses as an adjunct instructor to both undergraduates and graduate students. These include courses such as Crime Scene Archaeology, Human Osteology, Zooarchaeology, Environmental Evidence, and Biology for Artists. As a graduate student, I also tutored a wide range of subjects for 3 years to college students with learning disabilities, so I have a lot of experience with teaching and tutoring.
I am currently finishing my M.S. focusing in Human Biology in which I studied Gross Anatomy, Human Osteology, Bioarchaeology. My undergraduate degree was in Anthropology and Archaeology, which focused on Physical Anthropology and Historic Archaeology.
In addition to teaching, I have a lot of practical hands-on experience with these subjects as I have conducted a lot of fieldwork across the U.S. (as an archaeological field technician) and in Rwanda, Africa, as a archaeological field director, osteology researcher, and French translator.
