I have been an Instructor at Harrington College of Design since 1999. Utilizing my 25 years of experience in the Architecture & Interior Design industry; my goal is to provide students with the ability to professionally illustrate their designs for: schematic, presentation, and construction purposes. The biggest reward for me is identifying when a student recognizes that they can confidently use the software.
As a practicing Architectural Design Illustrator and Construction Draftsman: I utilize real world parameters for my students. To share the theory that a drawing should tell a story in one's absence. Providing a technical dialogue; starting with the line weight defining importance to the poché representing materials and textures. Completed with adequate dimensioning and annotation, few questions should remain.
