I am a recent college graduate with a B.A. in English and Creative Writing. I currently work as a tutor and Creative Writing workshop leader, and I have tutored and taught in Spanish, French, Visual Art, and Storytelling. I believe that a student only learns material that is meaningful to them. I am practiced in teaching to multiple intelligences and work to find the aspects of a subject that my students respond to in order to help them connect the material to their lives. I have a BA in English and Creative Writing. I currently tutor K-12 students in creative writing, essay writing, and journalism. I am a poet and prose writer and appreciate finding the perfect word for a sentence. I am great with grammar, structure, and helping my students to find their own voice.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
