My name is Jesse D. I'm 30. I've been a student of creative writing and literature for eight years, most recently culminating in an M.A. in English Literature from DePaul University. Prior to graduate study, I lived in Los Angeles as a freelance writer and was participating in salons peopled by famous modern authors such as Janet Fitch and Jane Smiley.
My goal, in addition to publishing extensively, is to pursue a career as a creative writing teacher. I would like to spend my life imparting the literary skills I've gained to those with less familiarity, but whom are eager to learn. I have published my first novel.
