I am a professional dancer with experience in many other professions and venues. I have a chemistry degree, so I love science. I worked as a nursing assistant at a large hospital, which gave me great opportunities to see science in action. I have always loved children, and am passionate about eduction. I think every kid should have a chance to succeed, and school is such a large part of children's lives that they should have every opportunity to succeed in school. Learning can be so much more than just doing math problems and reading boring textbooks; I really believe the world is filled with wonderful things, and education should bring those things to light for kids. My life has been touched by literature, art, and the intricacies of science and math, and I love passing on the lessons I've learned to others.
