Hello,

I'm David. I received my BA from the University of Iowa. I received my ESL certification from Cambridge, and I've been teaching English full-time for nearly 4 years in schools in the U.S., China, and Indonesia.

I have lots of teaching experience with children, adults, and business people alike, online and in the classroom. I've had clients from Pepsi, Barilla, Samsung, GE, and Novo Nordisk to name a few. Now, I mainly work with clients from France, Italy, Mexico, South Korea, and China.

I studied French in University and currently work for an online company based in Paris where I have to use French daily to teach English.

After studying Theatre Arts at the University of Iowa and receiving my Cambridge ESL Certification I spent 2 years teaching abroad in China and Indonesia. I'm in Chicago teaching English full time. I have been teaching for 7 years.

I focus on speaking and listening but also some writing, reading, and grammar.

I employ a communicative approach with doesn't focus exclusively on grammar.
