I am a recent graduate of a small liberal arts college where I majored in Biology and minored in Chemistry. During my four years in college I have served as a peer teacher, lab aid, and a teacher's assistant for various classes in the sciences. I enjoy helping others gain a better understanding of the material that I am passionate about learning myself. During high school I was employed as an after school tutor for middle school aged students at a community center, so I bring experience and patience for working with young students as well. I am a visual learner so I stress gaining a conceptual understanding of material that would then help students use those skills to tackle various problems. I also believe repeated exercises can help enhance one's learning and help boost confidence about material.
