Most of my clients have specific goals in mind, and would prefer to learn how to ultimately have "ownership" of their database. I enjoy helping students gain independence and be empowered through learning. All clients are given opportunities to participate in hands-on exercises to reinforce learning in addition to ongoing support.
I am a certified Microsoft Office Specialist, and prior to starting my own company, TERP LLC I was an adjunct instructor in the Wisconsin Technical College System. For 8 years I taught beginning through advanced computer classes, and facilitated corporate seminars for Business and Industry development. I am experienced in presenting to both large and small groups and diverse audiences across all organizational levels. I also have over 25 years experience in business operations, healthcare, education, and manufacturing engineering support.
My specialty is creating simple and basic Microsoft Access databases and Microsoft Office data integration tools for small businesses. Clients are guided through the process of creating a database with a sound structure, efficient user interfaces, and automated reporting tools. Systems are designed as simply as possible so the business-owner can easily do tweaking as their business grows and changes.
