During my current position as Chemistry/Physics and Chemistry Traditional Teacher at Hinsdale Central High School, I have been implementing positive, relationship-based classroom management techniques and authoring lessons according to the tenets of Understanding by Design. Besides that, I had organized a trip for Chemistry Traditional teachers to attend 2011 Kilpatrick Lecture at Illinois Institute of Technology and coached as well as sponsored numerous student activities. Due to my significant contributions, I was honored with the Parent Teacher Organization Make a Difference! Award.
Earlier, while serving as Faculty Teaching Assistant in the University of Wisconsin at Madison Department of Chemistry, my noteworthy contribution to the teaching profession won me the James W. Taylor Outstanding Chemistry Teaching Award. My teaching capabilities are corroborated by a Master of Science in Education and Social Policy from the Northwestern University, where my thesis focused at “Using Verbal Communication to Improve Science Literacy.”
