I have recently acquired my teaching certification for middle school and high school mathematics. I am currently substitute teaching and have an open schedule for tutoring on most days after school. Throughout my college career, I volunteered weekly with an after-school tutoring program. During that span, I mostly worked with 4th and 5th graders in reading and math. After college, I worked for a year as an 8th grade teacher aide. I worked with students in both self-contained classrooms and in inclusion classrooms in math, science, and social studies. I left that to pursue my masters and teaching certification. I love working with students of any age and love to see students learn new things and ideas. I am very patient with my students and when working with individuals outside of the classroom, I can dedicate the necessary time to making sure that they understand the material thoroughly.
