Grammar

I have 7 years of teaching experience in grammar. I believe teaching grammar skills needs to be one skill at a time and consistent.

Elementary Math

I have 7 years of experience teaching elementary through middle school math. Kindergarten through 8th grades.
I also started my bachelor's degree in engineering and have taken up through Calculus Three at the college level.

Elementary (K-6th)

I have a Master's in Elementary Education. I have taught general education Kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grades. I currently teach SpEd grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th. As a certified Associate Educational Therapist, I am able to provide instruction and support with study skills such as organization and time management.

Special Needs

I have been an elementary special education teacher for the past two years. I provide self-contained, resource and inclusion instruction for students in the 1st to 4th grades. I have an LBSI endorsement and a Master's in LBSII. I have taught students with Aspergers, Down Syndrome, Autism, Learning Disabilities, ADHD or ADD, Developmental Delay and Severe to Mild Cognitive disabilities.

ESL/ESOL

I have an ESL endorsement from National - Louis University. I have worked with students in the ELL population, who natively speak Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, Arabic, Cantonese or Japanese for the past 7 years.
