I have studied Classics for over seven years, and have experience teaching Latin both in the class room and one-on-one. I love Latin and Ancient Greek, and I love sharing my passion of my languages even more! The field of Classics is so often treated as dead, and if not, as something only for elites. That just isn't true! I am passionate about bringing Latin and Greek to life and showing my students how these two languages are vibrant, alive and fun. It is my goal as a teacher to make my field accessible to all ages. I am trained to teach all levels of Latin and I have a variety of teaching experience--if you are a high school senior looking for help to pass your AP Latin exam, or a college student looking for extra help on your Greek homework, or a parent interested in looking for a private Latin instructor for your fourth-grader, or just someone looking to pick up a new language, I look forward to getting to know you and helping you discover the ancient world!

Greek

Ancient Greek is my favorite of all the languages I know. I have been studying Greek since the age of sixteen. It is a deeply rewarding language, providing its student access to some of the richest literature and philosophy that humanity has ever produced. I have studied Plato, Epictetus, Sopholces, Aeschylus, Euripides, Aristophanes, and Homer (as well as many other classical authors) at an advanced graduate level.

Classics

While my focus in the field of Classics is Greek language, I have studied this field intensely for over seven years and have two degrees in Classical Studies. I studied Roman art, archaeology and history in Rome itself. I have taken courses on Greek art and art history.
