I am a US Army Fitness Instructor and am AMFPT Certified. I am a Personal Fitness Instructor with over 25 years of experience.

Introduction to Ethics as well as Business Ethics (Concentrating on Business and medical Ethics. Some of the Theories covered: Objectivism, Utilitarianism, Divine Command Theory, Deontology and Social Darwinism)
I am presently teaching classes on World and Comparative Religions; I cover and explore the principle doctrines, behavior and sphere of influence of Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Shinto, Daoism, Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Tribal and New Age Religions. I also cover some minor but well known Worldviews relevant to present day society, such as Satanism, Paganism and Wicca to name but a few.
I teach Epistemology and the various competing claims on what is "Truth." Is understanding Truth possible? Areas covered include Rationalism, Fideism, Skepticism, Empiricism and Apriorism. Much of what I cover in Epistemology covers Philosophical thought from the Ancient Greek Philosophers to Medieval thought, the Enlightenment Period, and Protestant Reformation and into present day issues such as Relativism, Multiculturalism and Exclusivism as it concerns Truth in Worldviews.
I also teach Critical Thinking, concentrating on Informal Fallacies as well as using Critical Thinking in evaluating Political Claims, Media and Entertainment, Religious Truth Claims and Competing Worldviews.

I learned formal Greek (Writing, Reading & Speaking) as my first language as a native while leaving in Greece.
I continued Greek Studies at the University of Illinois @ Chicago and Koine Greek Studies at the Graduate level at Seminary for Theological Studies.
I worked for three years as a Translator and Interpreter for a Private Greek firm in Chicago using Greek to English and English to Greek for Commercial, Political and Historical purposes.
I have been designated as a “Level II” Greek Speaker, Writer and Reader for the US Army.
My tutoring is especially suited for those who need proper pronunciation of Formal Greek for Business and Commercial reasons as well as Historical and Theological purposes.
My formal education in Philosophy has been at both undergraduate (B.A. Philosophy) and graduate level(Philosophy of Religion).
My area of specialty is: Ancient Greek Philosophy, Philosophy of Religion, Critical Thinking, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Ethics and Apologetics.
I have formally taught Philosophy since January of 1998.
In all of my classes, I incorporate History, Religion, Culture and Etymology for a better and more thorough understanding of the subject matter. I present all the Philosophies in such a way, that the learner is able to make the connection between theory and practical considerations, helping the scholar bridge ideas from hundreds and thousands of years ago into a modern and contemporary worldview.
My aim in Philosophy is not merely teaching Philosophy, but rather Doing and Experiencing Philosophy; in the same manner as Socrates did with his audience.

I have also taught World Religions for various professional organizations that are looking to better understand their foreign audience for greater communication and understanding in realizing their business needs in an ever increasing world market.
