I've spent most of the past 30+ years either teaching about or working with children. I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, and an M.A. in School Psychology, both from Adelphi University. I've taught at the undergraduate and graduate level for fifteen years -- both in the U.S. and overseas. I've worked in a variety of school settings as a psychologist, putting the theories into practical application.
My approach to teaching and tutoring is to help you to connect psychological principals to real-life experiences. What I love about psychology is that it applies to everything that people do. I think human beings are endlessly fascinating, and I enjoy sharing my passion for understanding them. I use a variety of approaches depending on your preferred learning style.
