Hello!

I have been a teacher for the last 20 years. I have an undergraduate degree from UW Madison in English and Communication Arts as well as a PhD in American Literature from Indiana University.

I have taught courses to students of all ages and levels, and have done extensive tutoring for GED and SAT. My areas of specialization include: test-taking (especially SAT and GED), vocabulary building, critical reading, and writing.

I'm a patient and understanding teacher who will help you to devise winning strategies to achieve your educational goals. I am generally quite flexible with meeting times and locations.

How do I receive a discount?

Save between 5 and 15% on tutoring by purchasing credit with one of our prepaid discount packages. You can buy one of our standard 5, 10 or 15% packages or customize your own package based on how much tutoring you need. The credit you purchase can be used towards any tutor at any time and does not expire. If you do not use the entire package, we will simply deduct what you did spend on tutoring from your original purchase price and give you a refund. Discount packages start as low as $190.
