My professional career includes over one and a half years of building students confidence and helping them understand how to get the best results out of their digital animation. The following highlights some of my accomplishments.
I tutored in classrooms that desperately needed a student worker for the quick paced learning environment. I helped students learn quick ways too fix their issues in adobe flash, I had to communicate clearly so my point got across. I graded papers and helped students build on their ideas and encouraged them. I made learning fun for students who did not understand the program.
I worked one on one with students who had problems understanding the teacher. I gave students a sense of confidence when advising them. I helped students solve issues quickly in a timely manner. I helped students in Maya, and Adobe programs. I came up with creative ways to break down student's projects to give them a clear understanding.
I helped student with reading disabilities take a test by reading questions a loud for them. I got a level one tutor certification for attending the tutor training classes.
Throughout my tenure at Illinois Institute of Art Chicago and Lansing community College, I have attempted to consistently use my communication skills in collaborative nature while working with the students, the community, the college family and board of trustees as appropriate. While serving the college in this role, I have become a very valuable resource between the college and the community and have been recognized for my collaborative nature of my skills and abilities.
