VETERAN MUSIC INDUSTRY FIGURE OFFERING MUSIC INSTRUCTION
Entering his 40th year as a music industry professional, Neil is the author of “The Do’s and Don’ts of the Music Industry” and creator of his own music curriculum for advanced students.
Neil has been teaching private instruction for close to fifteen years and students benefit by experiencing Neil’s detailed and methodical techniques, utilizing the Mel Bay, Dick Bennett and Alfred methods of music disciplines.
Neil has nine years of musical training including two years at the Chicago Conservatory of Music; and was graduated from Omega School of Communications with a degree in Media/Journalism.
In 1997, Neil was granted an honorary Doctorate of Letters in Music from Cambridge, England, and is the recipient of many music awards that include the Top 2000 Musicians of the 20th Century; and inductee into the International Who’s Who in Popular Music.
Neil divides his time instructing music, and playing a major role in the music industry by producing recordings and consulting songwriters on intellectual property rights and Copyright laws.
