Marcia earned a masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, and a masters degree in art history from the University of Chicago. She also has a TEFL certificate from the prestigious Lado Institute in Georgetown, Washington, DC. She has taught in Cameroon, Congo, Uganda, and Mongolia, as well as three social service agencies in Chicago. She is currently teaching private clients through Global LT.
