I am a compulsive reader of books, and graduated with Honors from The Ohio State University in English. I have read most of the classics, and can also help with sentence structure, grammar and vocabulary. I scored in the 98th percentile on my ACT, but that was a while back, in high school. I also received a 5 on the English Advanced Placement test.
In addition, I have no formal degree in American history, but it has always been one of my passions.
Lately, I just finished up my Juris Doctor, so I am technically an expert on the law, though I have not taken the Illinois Bar Exam yet.
I'm young, patient, and good at relating to students who genuinely want to learn. I aim to work with my student until they legitimately understand a concept, rather than just having them blindly spit back concepts to me.
What else can I say? I'm a nice guy, I know what I'm talking about, I am good at school, and I like people. Your student will be in good hands.
