I was an elementary teacher with the Chicago Public Schools for two years before working in business management and then coming to law school. As a result, I have a broad range of experiences working with individuals ranging from age 5 to 50 and tutoring in everything from basic math to excel and writing compelling emails. I'm currently a second year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law. I went to college at Pomona College, and received a Masters in Teaching from Dominican University in River Forest, IL. I am passionate about helping all students learn and especially love tutoring elementary and middle students in reading and math, and have a special passion for students with learning disabilities such as dyslexia. I also have experience tutoring high school students in math, science, and literature. My approach to tutoring includes assessing each student at the beginning of the tutoring relationship and developing a plan tailored to the individual, taking into account individuals learning styles and interests. Looking forward to meeting you!
