MY STYLE OF TUTORING AND TEACHING:

I take an approach which is very inter-active with all of my students (whether one-on-one or in a classroom setting). My first course of action is to determine my student(s) proficiency level and build upon that. I believe that learning is most accomplished when the setting is relaxed yet professional. Humor achieves more in retention than does harshness. As my experience working with the Japanese has taught me - learning needs to be 'PARTICIPATORY'. All views count and 'No Question' is dumb. Testing is always important and repetition of important elements of the subject prove to achieve long lasting knowledge.
