My name is Monica and I feel I have been teaching in some capacity for most of my life. I tutored my fellow students in reading while I attended grammar school (St. Thomas the Apostle). While studying Engineering at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, I taught high school Algebra and Chemistry for the Upward Bound program. As an adult, I've taught high school Math, Chemistry, and Physical Education at a Christian academy. I've also taught math at the 5th and 6th grade levels for an after school math lab at a local public grammar school. I am currently a GED teacher at the Blue Gargoyle, a non-profit community organization in my neighborhood. I have always loved math and I love to teach math. In addition, occasionally, I teach basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel to seniors at the Hyde Park Neighborhood Club.
