I'm a former Mexican teacher. I taught for 12 years in my country in different grades of education such as Elementary Education 1st to 6th grades; Junior and Senior High School teaching English, and University teaching English too.
In this country, I was working for a non-profit organization as a Spanish Literacy teacher/coordinator, ESL teacher, EL/Civics (Citizenship) teacher, supervisor and administrator of Educational services such as ESL, Even Start, Spanish Literacy, Citizenship program, and volunteers coordination. Also, I was making a data entry to submit reports to the funders and the organization on a regular basis. These programs were funded by The Secretary of State (SOS), Illinois State board of Education (ISBE) and The Illinois Community College Board (ICCB).
I was involved with CAAAELII (Coalition of Arabs, Asian, African, Europeans and Latinos Immigrants of Illinois). I made these activities and duties for 10 years.
Also I'm very familiar with Microsoft Office (word, Excel, Powerpoint) Internet, and email.
All my studies were made in Mexico, I received an Elementary Teacher Degree at the University of the State of Morelos, also I have a Master Degree as an English Teacher for Jr and Sr High School. I'm a bilingual teacher Spanish-English. My primary language is Spanish.
