Teaching is my passion, and I like to use that energy and enthusiasm in a child's educational growth and development. I am friendly and patient, which acts as a big asset while teaching. I enjoy one-on-one teaching. I believe in building and maintaining positive interactions with the students and parents to ensure an environment of learning.
Having a bachelor's degree in education, and tutoring students of varied academic levels and diverse cultural backgrounds for the past three years, has helped me to understand what a student needs and the techniques of teaching. I like to work with the student as a team. I try to help the student gain independence and confidence in his/her ability to learn. I work at the student's understanding level and with an agenda that serves his/her needs.
I believe that everybody can learn, and I want to be a part of that process.
