I am a recent graduate from Lewis University, where I have obtained my Masters of Science in Education with a focus on curriculum and instruction in technology. Within my experience at Lewis University I have come to be an expert on many methods and practices of online education and training techniques, as well as successfully implemented such techniques within my classroom. I have recently developed several art curricula for various grade levels ranging from early elementary to higher education. In the past few months, I have developed and implemented an elementary and middle school art curriculum that focuses on art techniques, drawing, painting, ceramics, and sculpture within a Chicago charter school.
In addition, I have created and taught an art curriculum with a technology basis at Crete-Monee High School in addition to facilitating the growth of studio arts amongst my students. I have developed the beginning digital photography and advanced digital photography curricula with a unit by design basis as well as adapted a visual communication graphic design course from the art studio level to the computer arts level. I am looking forward to advancing my teaching career and would like to be able to develop a rigorous program to further the education of the youth. The satisfaction I have received from facilitating the growth and development of community with in my school district has affirmed my desire to pursue a career within education.
