I have been very excited by the idea of becoming a biologist ever since I was a young girl. My dream came true when I got admitted in Graduate program of Biological Sciences, Northern Illinois University at Dekalb, IL. Now, I hold a M.S. in Biological Sciences majoring in Microbiology and Molecular Biology. I really worked hard in the graduate program and was able to publish my research in the two leading international research journals. The highlight of my graduate years was the Research Program, which taught me to apply the knowledge I had gained, to achieve a particular aim. I have always helped my juniors in the lab to understand vital theories, which they could apply to perform simple experiments. Sometimes one of the best ways to learn is by teaching someone else and by doing this I have gained new insight into many aspects of my subject. I enjoyed watching the way my questions made someone think and finally learn. I see teaching as an important part of my future. I know my subject material very well and am constantly looking for new stuff to learn. I have the ability to provide this knowledge in a simpler form to my students.
