In terms of experience, I have taught students in English, religious studies, and music. My teaching experience includes using technology (SMART Board, PowerPoint, online forums, video, etc.) in the classroom. I have experience writing curriculum, and I incorporate differentiated instruction for students of various learning styles.
Beyond high school teaching, I taught for two years at the Ball State Writing Center, where I helped students improve their writing skills. I have also graded and edited for a number of organizations, including Ball State University, Southwestern Christian School, Measurement Incorporated, and Pearson. Most recently, I assisted a doctoral student from China with the proofreading and editing of his dissertation.
I have degrees in Biblical Literature & Philosophy (BA), English (MA), and a Master of Divinity (M.Div) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. I have also served in a variety of church ministries, including experience as a teacher and preacher. In those positions, I have helped a wide variety of people, including students from Asia and other ethnic backgrounds.
