I have tutored students of all ages, from elementary school to students in graduate school. I've had experience working with home school students as well as those in public and private schools. Many of my students include siblings within a family that have been tutored by me for several years.
I have over 20 years teaching and tutoring a variety of topics. These include math (all levels and ages arithmetic through calculus; ages 5 to adult), chemistry, physics, biology and health sciences (such as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, and microbiology). I also am a published author of a textbook: Anatomy, Physiology & Disease for the Health Professions.
I enjoy learning and that is probably why I enjoy teaching. I believe all students are capable of success. Although students should be held accountable for their performance, teachers along with parents are important factors in achieving success. This is done by helping students understand what is expected of them and giving clear instructions and assistance on how to accomplish their goals.
